Built for mixed-production environments, the Seco X Tip Drill provides the flexibility to accommodate changing workpiece materials and drilling-depth requirements. A single drill body supports 3xD, 5xD and 8xD applications, helping manufacturers simplify workflows, minimize setup time, reduce the potential for errors and maintain dependable performance.
Its patented pre-tensioned interface enables fast and secure tip changes. Each drill body is supplied with a double-sided key for efficient tip replacement, while the axial-lock system maintains precision and repeatability even after repeated tip changes.

Multiple geometries deliver predictability across demanding materials
Application-specific tip geometries deliver reliable, predictable performance across a range of challenging materials. ISO P and M tips support efficient drilling in steels and stainless steels, while the ISO K geometry provides stable cutting performance in abrasive cast iron. For flat-bottom hole requirements, the Flat Bottom geometry completes the operation in a single pass, removing the need for secondary machining. All tip geometries fit the same Seco X Tip drill body, offering greater flexibility with fewer tools.
