Multimodal Logistics and Warehousing Support Growth
Commenting on the performance and business outlook, TCI Managing Director Mr. Vineet Agarwal highlighted the role of the company’s integrated logistics model as India’s consumption and trade activity expands.
The company’s operations span road, rail, coastal shipping, warehousing and technology-enabled supply-chain services. According to the management commentary, demand across third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing and multimodal transportation has remained encouraging.
TCI is also expanding its warehouse and hub network to serve growing requirements from e-commerce, quick commerce and omnichannel retail. Rail, road and coastal transportation are being used to support long-haul movement and improve logistics efficiency.
Technology and Green Logistics Remain Key Priorities
TCI continues to focus on digital integration and technology-led supply-chain solutions. Its initiatives include integration through the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP), real-time shipment visibility, data-driven solutions, AI-led forecasting, route optimization and automation.
These initiatives are aimed at improving service quality, asset productivity and cost efficiency across its operations.
Looking ahead, the company said it sees a constructive outlook for the coming quarters as festive-season demand builds across consumption-led sectors. Its stated priorities include further investment in multimodal infrastructure, digital capabilities and green logistics.
TCI’s Q2 FY2027 performance reflects continued growth in consolidated revenue and EBITDA, while the comparatively slower increase in PAT remains an important part of the quarter’s financial picture.
