Aimtron Electronics Limited, an Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) provider has won a pilot order from Curtiss-Wright Corporation, the NYSE-listed, US-headquartered global engineering group with annual sales of about US$ 3.5 billion.

The deal advances Aimtron’s push to deepen its footprint with global customers in high-reliability, technology-intensive sectors. It underscores the company’s shift towards programmes that demand stronger engineering participation, rigorous quality controls, advanced testing and repeatable execution, capabilities that will support larger, more complex and higher-value electronics projects as Aimtron scales internationally.

This pilot marks the start of a strategic relationship between the two companies. Pending successful qualification, programme approvals and future demand, the collaboration could broaden into additional programmes over time.

The announcement comes as Aimtron continues to build out capabilities in product engineering, prototyping, PCB assembly, system integration, manufacturing and testing, while expanding its role in global electronics supply chains. The company is prioritizing opportunities that pair electronics manufacturing with deeper engineering input, higher product complexity and stringent quality requirements.

Sneh Shah, Whole Time Director, Aimtron Electronics Limited, said: “For Aimtron, this engagement is significant. It is not just the beginning of a new customer relationship but also a reflection of the kind of global manufacturing opportunities that we are building the company for. Customers operating in high-reliability and technology-intensive industries require a strong combination of engineering depth, manufacturing discipline, quality and execution. The pilot gives us an opportunity to demonstrate these capabilities, and our immediate focus will be on delivering it successfully.”

The association also reinforces Aimtron’s broader strategy of building an engineering-led electronics manufacturing platform from India for global markets. As global companies diversify and strengthen their manufacturing networks, Aimtron is positioning itself to participate in programmes where engineering capability, quality assurance, manufacturing reliability and speed of execution are critical.
