Tungaloy Corporation and NTK Cutting Tools have announced that NTK Cutting Tools will merge with Tungaloy effective January 1, 2027, subject to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The merger marks an important new chapter for both organizations.
Following the merger, the combined organization will operate under the Tungaloy corporate name while continuing to retain the NTK Cutting Tools brand. NTK Cutting Tools will function as a dedicated division within Tungaloy, leveraging the technology, heritage and expertise that have earned it a strong reputation in the cutting tool industry.

As part of the integration, plans have also been finalized to establish a new headquarters and advanced manufacturing facility for NTK Cutting Tools in the Nagoya area of Japan. This multi-million-dollar investment will expand production capacity, introduce advanced manufacturing technologies and create a modern environment for manufacturing, engineering, marketing and corporate operations.
