Transrail Lighting Limited, a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) player in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector has secured new orders worth ₹412 crore in its core T&D business. With these wins, the company’s order intake for the year has reached ₹2,021 crore. In addition, Transrail has received L1 orders worth ₹409 crore, providing further visibility for its order pipeline.
The latest order wins are primarily from the domestic market and include transmission-line reconductoring projects using High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) conductors. Building on the reconductoring orders announced recently, these projects expand Transrail’s presence in an emerging segment where high-performance, carbon-core HTLS conductors manufactured in-house are used to enhance the current-carrying capacity of existing transmission lines.

With its expanded manufacturing capabilities, including tower capacity of 184,400 MTPA and conductor capacity of 40,800 KMPA, Transrail is well positioned to capitalise on the growing opportunities in the domestic and international T&D markets. The company expects these sectoral tailwinds, combined with its enhanced manufacturing capabilities, to support its continued growth and profitability.
Mr. Randeep Narang, MD & CEO, stated: “I am happy to successively announce new order wins worth ₹412 crore, which further helps to increase our orderbook and reinforce our position as an integrated T&D player. With this we further expand our domestic footprint in transmission line reconductoring projects using high-performance carbon-core HTLS conductors manufactured by us.
We are motivated to see the Government’s thrust for the sector by approving Phase-III of the Green Energy Corridor which will strengthen India’s power infrastructure to support the evacuation of 900 GW of non-fossil fuel-based generation. Industry tailwinds like this coupled with our enhanced manufacturing capacities for towers and conductors, makes us well placed to continue our growth and create sustainable value.”
