JAKSON Engineers Limited, part of the JAKSON Group, an energy and infrastructure conglomerate has named Mr. Ivan Saha as Managing Director. He will helm JAKSON’s integrated solar manufacturing business, steering technology roadmap, production operations, and market expansion.
Bringing over 31 years of experience across semiconductor, solar, & sustainable energy, Mr. Saha offers a rare blend of technical depth, operational excellence, and business acumen. His appointment aligns with JAKSON’s push to scale manufacturing capacity and execute large‑scale backward integration across the solar value chain.
Welcoming Mr. Saha, Mr. Sameer Gupta, Chairman, JAKSON Group, said, “JAKSON has always taken a long-term view while building businesses that address evolving energy needs. Ivan’s experience will support our continued investment in advanced manufacturing and contribute to the Group’s growth.”

Mr. Saha brings extensive leadership experience in the renewable energy and photovoltaic sectors. Prior to joining JAKSON, he served as CEO of Reliance Infrastructure’s renewable manufacturing business.
Earlier in his career, he was Chief Executive Officer of Vikram Solar, having previously held the positions of Chief Technology Officer and Head of Manufacturing at the company. He also served as Chief Technology Officer at ReNew Power and held key leadership roles at Moser Baer Photovoltaic and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Mr. Saha has been an active voice in industry forums, having served as Chairman of FICCI’s National Task Force on Solar Manufacturing and of CII’s Eastern Region Energy Council. He currently co-chairs the International Technology Roadmap for Photovoltaic (ITRPV) Board and sits on the Advisory Board of the World Solar Congress. A seasoned technologist, he has authored more than 65 research papers and filed over 10 patent applications in photovoltaic technology.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Technology from the University of Calcutta and a Master of Technology in Materials Science from IIT Kanpur. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from Motorola University.
