Highway Infrastructure Limited (HIL), an integrated infrastructure platform with operations spanning toll management, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and real estate, has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The ₹24.46 crore contract, awarded on September 30, 2026, covers the operation of the Velanchettiyur Fee Plaza and the collection of user fees in Tamil Nadu.
The toll plaza is situated along the four-lane Karur-Dindigul stretch of NH-7, an important highway corridor in the state. Under the agreement, HIL will manage toll collection operations and maintain the toilet facilities located near the fee plaza. The company’s responsibilities will also include ensuring the availability of essential consumables at these facilities.

The contract will be carried out over 90 days and is expected to strengthen HIL’s presence in southern India. It also supports the company’s strategy of expanding its operations across high-traffic national highway corridors. The addition of this mandate to HIL’s growing toll-management portfolio reflects its experience in the sector and strengthens its position as a toll operations service provider.
