Om Power Transmission Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for a ₹60.48 crore turnkey project involving the development of a 220kV Kotda-Sanghani Air Insulated Substation (AIS) in Gujarat.
Under the contract, Om Power Transmission will be responsible for the supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 220kV and 66kV equipment and materials, along with associated civil works. The contract value stands at ₹60,48,51,594.19, including GST or approximately ₹60.48 crores.
Om Power Transmission’s Scope Covers 220kV and 66kV Systems
The project covers development-related works for the 220kV Kotda-Sanghani AIS substation, including the supply and installation of specified 220kV and 66kV equipment and materials.
Om Power Transmission will also undertake testing and commissioning activities as well as the associated civil works as part of the turnkey contract. The project has been awarded by a domestic entity and is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the date of the Letter of Award (LOA).

₹60.48 crore contract adds to Om Power Transmission’s project pipeline
The latest project gives Om Power Transmission another assignment in Gujarat’s power transmission infrastructure segment. The scope of work covers multiple stages of substation development, bringing together equipment supply, installation, civil works, testing and commissioning under a single turnkey contract.
The company has also disclosed that its promoter, promoter group and group companies do not have any interest in GETCO. It has further stated that the contract does not fall under related party transactions.

A Substation Project With a Broad Execution Scope
The Kotda-Sanghani project goes beyond the supply of individual electrical equipment. Om Power Transmission’s responsibilities span the installation of 220kV and 66kV systems, associated materials and civil works, followed by testing and commissioning.
With an 18-month execution period, the project will now move into the implementation phase following the LOI. The development comes as another order opportunity for Om Power Transmission in the transmission infrastructure space, with the company taking on a turnkey substation project valued at ₹60.48 crores.
