Renewable energy company Juniper Green Energy Limited has announced that its ₹1,800 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) will open for subscription on 30th July, 2026, and close on 03rd August, 2026. The company has fixed a price band of ₹214–₹225 per equity share, according to its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares, with the company aiming to strengthen its financial position by reducing debt and supporting future business growth. Anchor investor bidding is scheduled to take place on 29th July, while eligible employees applying under the reserved category will receive a discount of ₹21 per equity share.

Juniper Green Energy plans to utilize a significant portion of the proceeds from the fresh issue to reduce its outstanding debt. The company will allocate ₹683.24 crores towards repayment or prepayment of certain borrowings.
Additionally, ₹728.69 crores will be invested in three of its subsidiaries, Juniper Green Gamma One, Juniper Green Kite, and Juniper Green Power Five to enable them to repay or prepay their existing borrowings. The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes, providing additional financial flexibility to support the company’s long-term expansion plans.

Renewable Energy Portfolio Continues to Expand
Juniper Green Energy is an independent renewable energy producer focused on the development, construction and operation of utility-scale solar, wind and hybrid renewable energy projects across India. The company is part of the Singapore-based AT Capital Group.
As of June 2026, Juniper Green Energy had an operational renewable energy capacity of 2,409 MWp, supported by a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 503 MWh. Including projects under construction, the company’s total renewable energy portfolio has grown to 10,247 MWp, alongside a planned 4,564 MWh of battery energy storage capacity.
The company has increasingly focused on hybrid renewable energy projects that combine multiple clean energy technologies to improve power availability and grid reliability, positioning itself to benefit from India’s accelerating renewable energy transition.

Lead Managers Appointed for the Public Issue
The IPO is being managed by ICICI Securities Limited, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, JM Financial Limited, and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, which have been appointed as the book-running lead managers for the issue.
