Enviro Infra Engineers Limited has secured a ₹189.99 crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) turnkey contract for a 180 MW NTPC wind power project at Parli in Maharashtra, with its step-down subsidiary Suyog Urja Limited set to execute the work.
The contract awarded by Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited on 07th September, 2026 extends beyond the construction of wind turbine foundations. The scope covers foundation works, reinforcement steel supply, geotechnical activities, balance-of-plant works, road and crane-pad construction, a dedicated storage facility and 33 kV transmission infrastructure.
Enviro Infra has received the intimation from Suyog Urja on 08th September. The domestic contract is valued at ₹189.99 crores, excluding GST and is scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2027.
A broader EPC scope for the 180 MW Project
Suyog Urja’s responsibilities include construction of wind turbine generator foundations along with the supply of reinforcement steel. The subsidiary will also undertake geotechnical work and balance-of-plant activities as part of the turnkey assignment.
One of the notable components of the project is the development of a fully equipped and secure storage yard spread across 39 acres. The facility is intended to support the storage and handling of materials during project execution. The contract also requires Suyog Urja to coordinate right-of-way arrangements for the movement of materials and equipment to the project site.
Roads and Crane Infrastructure Included
The project scope also covers the construction of permanent and temporary roads, pathways and crane pads.
These elements form part of the supporting infrastructure required for construction activities at a wind project, particularly for transporting equipment and facilitating the movement and deployment of cranes at the site. The combination of foundation, balance-of-plant and site infrastructure works makes the contract broader than a standalone civil construction assignment.
33 kV Transmission Work adds another layer
The EPC contract also includes construction and commissioning of 33 kV transmission line works. This transmission infrastructure will form part of the project’s power evacuation system, linking the generation assets with the wider electrical network.
The inclusion of transmission work alongside civil, balance-of-plant and site development activities gives Suyog Urja responsibility across multiple parts of the project’s execution scope.
Project to be completed by March 2027
The contract carries a defined execution deadline of 31st March, 2027. With the award dated 07th September, 2026, the project has a relatively compressed execution schedule.
For Enviro Infra Engineers, the order also represents an expansion of its EPC activity into wind power infrastructure through Suyog Urja. The company disclosed that neither its promoter nor promoter-group entities have any interest in Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, the entity awarding the contract. The order does not fall under related-party transactions.
The ₹189.99 crore contract therefore brings together several components of wind project execution, from turbine foundations and material handling to site access infrastructure and transmission works, as Suyog Urja takes forward the 180 MW project at Parli, Maharashtra.
