Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited (ONGPL), has emerged as a successful bidder in the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited’s (SECI) latest wind power auction, securing a 50 MW capacity under the 2 GW tender. The project was awarded through SECI’s Tranche-XX tender, titled “Selection of Wind Power Developers for Setting up of 2000 MW ISTS-connected Wind Power Projects in India under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding.” The e-reverse auction concluded on July 15, 2026.
According to an official press release issued by ONGC NTPC Green, Ayana Renewable secured the 50 MW capacity at a competitive tariff of ₹3.85 per kWh. The project forms part of SECI’s ongoing efforts to expand India’s renewable energy capacity by promoting large-scale interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind power projects through transparent, tariff-based competitive bidding.
