400 MW in One Order: Vikram Solar Expands Its Maharashtra Footprint

Vikram Solar has added a 400 MW module supply contract to its order book, with the modules set to be deployed across a series of decentralized solar projects in Maharashtra. The order has been placed by a leading EPC company in India and covers projects spread across multiple locations in the state.

The company will supply 620 Wp N-Type TOPCon G12R modules under the agreement. The modules incorporate glass-to-glass construction, bifacial technology and half-cut cell architecture. Deliveries are expected to begin in October 2026, with the order forming part of the growing deployment of solar power for agricultural feeder networks in Maharashtra.

Agricultural feeder solarization has emerged as a key area of decentralized renewable energy development in India, with solar projects being deployed closer to the areas they serve. Such projects are aimed at supporting more reliable power availability for agricultural users while contributing to the country’s wider expansion of renewable energy capacity and efforts to strengthen energy security.
