Rohde & Schwarz will showcase its latest electromagnetic compatibility solutions at the IEEE Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, where it is participating as a Silver Sponsor. The company will present advanced test and measurement technologies designed to meet evolving compliance requirements across consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors. Highlights include new high gain antennas and speed optimized EMI testing solutions, along with workshops and a technical tour offering practical insights into current EMC standards.
The event will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from May 4 to May 7, bringing together engineers, researchers, and industry experts focused on electromagnetic compatibility. Rohde & Schwarz’s participation underscores its continued collaboration with IEEE committees and its contribution to advancing EMC test methodologies on a global scale.
At its booth A04, Rohde & Schwarz will display its latest innovations: These include the newly launched R&S HF1444G20 high-gain EMS antenna alongside the R&S HF1444G14 high-gain EMI antenna, covering a frequency range from 14.9 GHz to 44 GHz and meeting the requirements of the standards CISPR 16-1-4 and CISPR 16-2-3. The R&S HF1444G14 is perfect for full compliance testing up to 44 GHz in combination with the industry leading R&S ESW EMI test receiver, while EMS measurements according to MIL-
STD-461H (released April 2026) are simplified using the R&S HF1444G20 and R&S SAM200 advanced power amplifier.
A live demonstration will show a speed-optimized EMI test that produces 3D emission plots generated by R&S ELEKTRA test software. The demo showcases rapid device characterization for typical commercial EMI tests. In addition, the R&S RTO6 and MXO 5 oscilloscopes will be used in a joint demonstration with EMC Partner to verify the pulse output of their high voltage ESD generator ESDEX to ensure generator performance is in line with standards such as IEC 61000-4-2. The combined solutions aim to address the latest IEC, automotive, military and avionics standards.
In addition to the exhibits, Rohde & Schwarz engineers will lead three technical workshops covering recent changes in CISPR 32 for emission measurements on multimedia equipment, challenges posed by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in populated areas, and practical approaches to reverberation chamber measurements. A technical tour, organized with SIRIM Berhad, will give participants access to real world EMC test facilities where measurement setups and compliance workflows are demonstrated.
