The Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business vertical of L&T has secured a series of EPC orders from reputed clients in the Middle East for the development of extra-high voltage substations.
The scope of work includes the construction of one 380 kV substation and two 132 kV substations. These high-capacity installations are designed to enhance the reliability of power supply to major load centres while easing grid congestion, thereby supporting rising electricity demand.
The projects have been awarded on a turnkey basis and will be executed within stringent delivery timelines, reflecting the complexity and scale of the assignments.
