Hyundai has unveiled the 2027 IONIQ 9 Calligraphy Black Ink, a new premium variant of its flagship three-row electric SUV. The model introduces a more refined and design-focused interpretation of the IONIQ 9, combining luxury detailing with high-performance electric capability.
Positioned at the top of the IONIQ lineup, the Calligraphy Black Ink edition emphasizes a bold, monochromatic design language. The exterior features darkened accents, black-finished elements, and exclusive alloy wheels, creating a more distinctive and sophisticated visual identity. Inside, the cabin follows a similar theme with a black interior palette, premium materials, and a focus on comfort across all three rows.

The vehicle is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering strong performance, supported by a high-capacity battery designed for extended range and efficient charging. Fast-charging capability and compatibility with an expanding charging network enhance everyday usability for drivers.
In addition to performance and design upgrades, the model integrates advanced technology and convenience features. These include a head-up display, premium audio system, digital rearview mirror, and driver assistance technologies aimed at improving safety and ease of use. Comfort-focused elements such as relaxation seating, a panoramic roof, and multi-row connectivity further enhance the in-cabin experience.

The Calligraphy Black Ink edition reflects Hyundai’s continued focus on expanding its premium electric vehicle portfolio. By combining design, performance, and technology, the new variant aims to deliver a more elevated ownership experience in the evolving electric SUV segment.
The model is expected to be available in select markets in the near future.
