Coimbatore is buzzing with technology and business activity as the 8th edition of Elektrotec 2026 opened today at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex. Organized by CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre, the four-day exhibition, being held from August 21 to 24, brings together more than 400 companies and industry participants to showcase innovations spanning electrical and industrial electronics, renewable energy, power electronics and electric mobility. The event provides a platform for businesses, technology providers and professionals to explore emerging solutions, exchange ideas and build new industry connections.
The inauguration brought together industry leaders, technology professionals and other stakeholders, setting the tone for four days of technology exploration, business networking and knowledge exchange. Chief Guest Dr. G. A. Patanjali, Managing Director, High Energy Batteries (India) Ltd, emphasized the importance of embracing technological innovation while maintaining equal attention to personal health and wellbeing. He noted that the benefits of rapid technological progress can be fully realized when innovation is accompanied by a healthy and balanced approach.
