Karnataka has launched Tathyakosh.in, a digital platform aimed at making public data from across India easier to discover and assess. The platform has been developed by the ACSEL Technology Forum, a Karnataka government Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence. Hon’ble IT-BT Minister Shri Priyank Kharge unveiled Tathyakosh on Wednesday and the platform is now live. Tathyakosh brings information about public datasets from multiple sources into a single searchable platform. Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC) has secured a ₹524.17 crore contract from NHPC Limited for works at the Salal Power Station in Jammu & Kashmir. The order marks another significant addition to HCC’s long-standing infrastructure portfolio in the region. Maharashtra is planning to expand its electric vehicle charging infrastructure by setting up charging stations at MSRTC depots and Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) across the state, as the government looks to support wider EV adoption and cleaner transport. India has crossed a major clean-energy milestone, with its installed non-fossil electricity generation capacity reaching 300.50 GW as of 31st July, 2026.
