At EES Europe 2025, one of the premier events for the energy storage industry, Aeson Power unveiled its new line of sodium-based products. These include the SIBPOM-4850 for telecommunications, SIBPOM-12100 for UPS systems, the SIBPOM-125kWh energy storage cabinet for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, and two automotive battery series: NaForce and NaPulse, designed for passenger vehicles.

Aeson Power’s sodium products are powered by NFPP polyanionic technology battery cells, offering a range of standout features: intrinsic safety (full capacity recovery even after deep discharge to 0V), excellent high-temperature performance (normal operation at 60°C), superior rate capability, round-trip efficiency above 95%, and an extended lifecycle of over 15,000 cycles.

For C&I energy storage, the SIBPOM-125kWh cabinet delivers safety, smart monitoring, a wide temperature operating range, and high energy density. It has successfully passed rigorous third-party testing in accordance with lithium battery safety standards, including IEC 62619 and IEC 62933.

In the automotive segment, Aeson Power introduced two sodium-ion battery series: NaForce, developed to meet European (EU) standards, and NaPulse, aligned with Japanese (JIS) standards. Both series include start-stop and starter battery options, offering reliable cold-start performance, rapid charging, lightweight design, and long service life. Notably, the start-stop models support deep cycling up to 180,000 cycles, making them an ideal replacement for traditional AGM and MF batteries in passenger vehicles.

Along with the sodium product, Aeson Power also displayed the lithium battery energy storage products – a 261kWh C&I energy storage cabinet and a 5MWh containerized energy storage system – certified to IEC standards by TÜV SÜD and French BV and the bipolar lead-acid battery – TRE, TUS, TSS, THS series – with excellent PSoC cycling, better cranking performance, and high power output.

Aeson Power’s general manager Shirley Zhang stated, “Our bipolar lead-acid batteries are globally unique in low temperature of -40C performance, with wide market adoption. Now, our sodium-ion batteries will also achieve breakthroughs. The safety of sodium battery technology is a critical foundation for future applications. Aeson Power will keep focusing R&D resources on sodium technology.”
