Tembo Global Industries Limited is set to commence production of specialized UAV Components through its joint venture, JR UAV Limited at its Kashidkopar facility within the next 90 days, marking the company’s expansion into precision manufacturing for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems.
The production will be undertaken against international orders received by JR UAV Italy for specialized components used in UAV systems. The Kashidkopar facility is being established as a dedicated manufacturing base for precision-engineered components designed for defence and aerospace applications.
The latest development expands Tembo Global’s presence beyond its established engineering and industrial manufacturing business into the rapidly evolving UAV ecosystem. By manufacturing specialized components for international customers, the company aims to strengthen its position in the global defence and aerospace supply chain while supporting India’s focus on indigenous manufacturing.

JR UAV Limited, a strategic joint venture between Tembo Global Industries Limited, JR UAV Europe and JR PROPO Japan, has been formed to manufacture specialized UAV Components for domestic and international markets. The facility is expected to support advanced manufacturing capabilities for next-generation unmanned aerial platforms.
The company also stated that the initiative aligns with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives, which encourage the development of indigenous capabilities in defence and aerospace manufacturing.

Speaking on this development, Mr. Sanjay J. Patel, Managing Director, Tembo Global Industries Ltd. said: “The commencement of production at Kashidkopar is an important milestone in our defence and aerospace journey. The JV aims to achieve at least INR 100 crores of revenue in its first year of operations. Manufacturing specialized UAV components for international orders reflects the confidence placed in our engineering and quality capabilities. With production scheduled to begin within the announced timeline, the Kashidkopar facility is expected to play a key role in supporting Tembo Global’s long-term strategy of expanding its footprint in advanced manufacturing and strengthening its participation in the global UAV Components market.
