Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has been awarded a 900 kW hybrid rooftop solar project by the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) under the Department of Rural Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The project will be implemented across 12 locations in the state, with 75 kW of installed capacity at each site, taking the total allocated capacity to 900 kW.
As part of the contract, Servotech will undertake the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of hybrid rooftop solar systems integrated with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The systems are intended to provide a reliable source of clean energy while reducing dependence on conventional electricity.
The project supports Uttar Pradesh’s efforts to expand the use of decentralized renewable energy solutions in rural areas. By combining rooftop solar generation with battery storage, the initiative aims to improve energy reliability and strengthen sustainable power infrastructure across the selected locations. Hybrid solar systems with battery storage can continue supplying electricity even during grid interruptions, making them particularly suitable for institutions and facilities that require a dependable power supply.

According to the company’s announcement, the project is scheduled to be completed within six months.
