This innovative device allows technicians to operate G&W SF6 insulated switchgear remotely from up to 300 feet away, keeping them safely outside the arc flash hazard zone.

The RSK-PMT-GW is compatible with G&W 15–38 kV SF6 insulated switchgear that uses up to six-position Rotary Puffer switches. It installs easily without any modifications to existing electrical equipment, attaching securely with a simple latch to existing studs. Weighing just 20 pounds, the unit is lightweight and portable, making it convenient to transport across job sites or reach difficult locations.
Included in the kit is an actuator designed specifically for G&W Rotary Puffer switches, along with the RSO-IV-M18 remote operator featuring radio control and torque-limiting functionality through a current-control module. Powered by Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM ion batteries, the RSK-PMT-GW delivers reliable, consistent performance for hundreds of switching operations.
