Mahindra Group has announced plans to set up its largest integrated automobile and tractor manufacturing facility in Nagpur, Maharashtra, marking a major milestone in the Mahindra Group’s long-term growth strategy. The announcement was made at Advantage Vidarbha, a flagship event highlighting Vidarbha’s emergence as a key industrial growth hub.
Spread across 1,500 acres in Vidarbha, the facility will be supported by a 150-acre supplier park in Sambhajinagar. Once operational, the Mahindra Group facility will have a capacity of over 5 lakh vehicles and 1 lakh tractors annually, making it the Mahindra Group’s largest integrated manufacturing footprint in India.
Backed by strong connectivity, advanced automation, and multi-powertrain capabilities, the Mahindra Group aims to strengthen its leadership in automotive and farm equipment manufacturing while supporting domestic and global markets.
With these initiatives, Mahindra is committing a comprehensive investment of ₹15,000 crores over a 10-year period in Maharashtra and will acquire over 2000 acres across three locations to further strengthen its manufacturing footprint.
