Festo India has inaugurated its first Automation Experience Centre (FEC) in Noida, establishing a dedicated hub for factory automation, smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, innovation, collaboration, skills development, and hands-on technology exploration. The new facility marks a significant step in Festo’s expansion across Northern India’s fast-growing manufacturing corridor, where industries are increasingly investing in automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 solutions to improve competitiveness and productivity.

The Festo Experience Centre in Noida, located in Block A, Phase-2, is designed to help manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators, and educational institutions experience automation technologies in a practical environment. Visitors can explore live demonstrations and application-driven solutions spanning factory automation, electric automation, pneumatics, motion technologies, digital engineering, and smart factory systems, enabling them to better understand how these technologies can be implemented in real-world manufacturing operations.

The launch comes as Festo India celebrates its 40th anniversary and highlights the growing demand for advanced industrial automation solutions across India. By offering hands-on access to real-world use cases, the centre aims to help manufacturers evaluate technologies before deployment and identify opportunities to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability.

Beyond industrial automation solutions, the centre also showcases offerings from Festo Didactic, the company’s technical education and workforce development division. The facility will host training programmes, workshops, technology demonstrations and industry engagement initiatives aimed at addressing the growing demand for skilled talent in advanced manufacturing.

According to India’s economic survey 2026, manufacturing is a foundational pillar of India’s economy, contributing around 16–17 per cent of GDP and employing over 27 million workers. As the country works towards transforming from a $3.7 trillion economy to a $30–35 trillion economy by 2047, manufacturing is expected to play a central role, with its share in GDP rising to at least 25 per cent.

The inauguration was attended by customers, industry leaders, technology partners, academic institutions and members of Festo’s global and Indian leadership teams.
