NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has crossed a significant milestone in its renewable energy journey after its wholly owned subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) commenced commercial operations of the first 50.4 MW phase of the Vanki Wind Energy Project in Gujarat.
The project, located in Nakhatrana, Kutch achieved commercial operation with effect from 00:00 hours on July 8, 2026, according to the company’s official announcement. With the commissioning of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group has increased to 10,721.80 MW, reinforcing the company’s position as one of India’s leading renewable energy developers.

Vanki Project Marks Another Milestone
