The modular design enables engineers to configure linear stages online by choosing from a broad range of mechanical structures, drive types, and feedback options suited to their specific application requirements.
Thousands of Possible Configurations
By combining various travel ranges, drive types, motors, and feedback systems, the MPL concept allows engineers to create thousands of unique stage configurations that can be specified directly through an online interface.
Unlike traditional positioning stages with fixed configurations, the MPL platform functions as a modular toolkit. This flexible approach helps reduce costs while maintaining the precision, stiffness, and reliability required for demanding positioning applications. Precision linear stages play a critical role in many industrial and scientific systems, delivering accurate straight-line motion with minimal runout and high repeatability.
The MPL series is available with travel ranges of 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, and 300 mm. Motor options include servo motors for dynamic applications and stepper motors that provide cost-effective control solutions. Linear motor options are planned for a future release.
For applications that require enhanced position holding capability—such as vertical Z-axis systems—a motor brake option is also available.
