Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, unveiled groundbreaking innovations and shared industry expertise at the NECA 2025 Convention & Trade Show, held September 12–15 in Chicago.
“For more than 135 years, electrical contractors have relied on solutions and expertise from Schneider Electric to grow their businesses, and we are proud to reinforce our commitment to this critical community at NECA 2025,” said Peyton Pratt, Vice President, Power Systems Commercial, Schneider Electric. “By making investments in domestic manufacturing, strengthening our partnerships with leading industry organizations, such as NECA, and focusing on the evolving needs of today’s professionals, Schneider Electric is powering the future of electrical contracting.”
Schneider Electric emphasized that the future of electrical contracting will be shaped by adaptability, collaboration, and rapid adoption of new technologies. At NECA 2025, the company introduced its latest contractor-focused solutions and highlighted support for workforce development and regulatory readiness.
Innovation on Display in Chicago
Schneider Electric showcased new product innovations developed with the electrical contractor and installer community in mind, including:
LV Reduced Energy Transformer – A three-phase transformer engineered for efficiency, sustainability, and simplified installation. Among the first DOE 2029-compliant designs, it reduces emissions, future-proofs infrastructure, and saves contractors time and labor.
Integrated Power Center 2 (IPC2) – A prefabricated solution that packages a low-voltage transformer with power distribution, lighting, and application planes. With factory-assembled interconnections, IPC2 reduces on-site labor by up to 90% while shrinking electrical infrastructure footprints.
QO Smart Panel Solution – An affordable upgrade for home electrical systems that brings smart panel functionality through Square D Control Relays, the Schneider Energy Monitor, and QO Plug-on Neutral panels. It enables circuit-level control via app, enhances safety, and delivers system-wide energy insights to lower costs.
Attendees can explore these solutions and meet Schneider Electric experts at booth #4618.
