Key highlights include a demo stack for SST applications and SSCB components based on CoolSiC JFET technology, enabling ultra-fast fault isolation within microseconds and ensuring high reliability for future DC grid architectures.
Powering AI from grid to core: Rapid growth in AI computing workloads is significantly increasing data centre energy demand and accelerating the transition toward advanced power architectures such as HVDC sidecars and DC microgrids. At PCIM, Infineon Technologies AG will showcase its comprehensive silicon (Si), silicon carbide (SiC), and gallium nitride (GaN) portfolio supporting this shift from grid connection to processor core.
