From May 4–7, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia hosted SEMICON Southeast Asia, one of the semiconductor industry’s most influential global events. At the exhibition, DUCO Robots, a leading innovator in China’s intelligent robotics sector unveiled a portfolio of advanced products and industry-focused solutions, highlighting the capabilities and innovation driving China’s smart manufacturing ecosystem in the high-end semiconductor market.
Addressing the critical manufacturing challenges of space optimization and operational efficiency in semiconductor packaging and testing facilities, DUCO Robots showcased its Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) solution. Engineered for both new and existing semiconductor fabs with limited floor space and ceiling heights as low as three meters, the solution integrates mobile collaborative robots for fully automated tray loading and unloading with an Overhead Shuttle System (OHS). This combination enables efficient tray bundle transportation, maximizes the use of overhead space, and frees up valuable floor-level operating areas.
The entire system is orchestrated by the MCS (Material Control System) platform, achieving seamless coordination between mobile robots and the overhead system, enhancing operational accuracy, efficiency, and flexibility, helping semiconductor fabs reduce costs and improve competitiveness.

Following SEMICON Southeast Asia, DUCO Robots continued its exhibition tour with INTERMACH 2026 Bangkok (May 13–16, Thailand) and MetalTech & Automex 2026 (May 20–23, Malaysia), showcasing welding collaborative robots, palletizing workstations, pick-and-place with vision system monitoring, and AMR-enabled pick-and-place applications.
