To meet the evolving requirements of motorists and independent businesses across its expanding network, Point S Europe has introduced its next-generation EV tyre range, the Point S 4 Seasons 3, designed to deliver reliable all-season performance. The range includes tyres for passenger cars, performance vehicles and SUVs, as well as the Point S 4 Seasons Van + range for vans, commercial vehicles and caravans. Every tyre in the portfolio is fully compatible with electric vehicles.
Designed in Germany and produced in Europe, the new range was developed in close partnership with a leading European premium tyre manufacturer. This collaboration combines advanced manufacturing capabilities with Point S’s market expertise and technical requirements, resulting in tyres tailored to European road conditions, fleet needs and core industry specifications.
The Point S 4 Seasons 3 range delivers measurable performance improvements over its predecessor. Its European tyre-label rolling-resistance rating has improved from D to C, while selected sizes achieve a B rating for wet grip. Development testing also showed enhanced performance in snow, wet and dry conditions, supporting confident year-round driving.
Engineered with EV-specific technology, the tyres feature increased load capacity, optimized rolling resistance, lower noise levels and improved wear resistance. Available in more than 50 sizes, including 12 for commercial vehicles, the range also expands coverage in the increasingly popular 17-, 18- and 19-inch tyre segments, responding to rising demand for medium and large-diameter fitments.

TÜV SÜD Product Service tested for harsh weather conditions
Point S International commissioned independent testing by TÜV SÜD Product Service to assess the performance of its new Point S 4 Seasons 3 tyre range. The evaluation compared the Point S 4 Seasons 3 in size 205/55 R16 94V XL with three mid-range and three budget tyre brands. Conducted in February and March 2026 using a Volkswagen Golf VIII and an Audi A3, the tests covered key safety-related criteria including wet braking, wet lateral grip, aquaplaning and snow performance.
The Point S 4 Seasons 3 delivered particularly strong results in wet conditions. In braking tests from 80 km/h to a standstill, the mid-range tyres required an additional 2.66 metres to stop, while the budget tyres travelled 3.3 metres further than the Point S tyre. It also achieved stronger wet-grip performance than both comparison groups, while aquaplaning tests indicated a lower likelihood of losing traction in standing water.
The tyre also performed strongly on snow-covered surfaces. In braking tests from 40 km/h to a complete stop, the mid-range and budget tyres travelled 0.4 metres and 1.7 metres farther, respectively, than the Point S 4 Seasons 3. Snow acceleration testing further confirmed its advantage, with the Point S tyre outperforming both the mid-range and budget tyre groups.
