Rochester Electronics and Qorvo have announced a worldwide distribution agreement aimed at extending the long-term availability of Qorvo’s radio frequency (RF) and power semiconductor products for customers across global markets. According to Qorvo, the partnership is designed to improve access to its high-performance semiconductor portfolio while addressing lifecycle management requirements for industries that depend on long product support cycles. Under the agreement, Rochester Electronics will serve as an authorized continuing source for a range of Qorvo components, helping customers maintain existing designs and reduce the challenges associated with component obsolescence.
The collaboration is expected to benefit sectors such as aerospace, defence, industrial, communications, connectivity, and power management, where long-term component availability is critical to maintaining operational systems and minimizing redesign efforts.
Qorvo stated that the agreement reinforces its commitment to providing customers with reliable supply continuity and long-term product support. Rochester Electronics noted that the partnership will enable engineers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to extend the lifecycle of existing hardware platforms while ensuring continued access to authorized semiconductor products.
