On March 7, ISLE 2026 concluded successfully at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Recognized as a global platform for display innovation and a key indicator of trends in system integration, the event showcased achievements across the entire industry chain, including LED displays, audio-visual system integration, professional lighting and sound, and stage performance equipment.
Spanning 80,000 square meters, ISLE 2026 hosted more than 1,000 exhibitors both online and onsite. Despite disruptions to Middle East civil aviation caused by regional conflicts before the event, the number of international buyers still increased by 6% compared with the previous edition, underscoring the exhibition’s strong global influence and industry significance.
China remains the world’s largest market for LED display manufacturing and applications. ISLE brings together leading exhibitors from across the industry and serves as a key platform for launching new products and innovative solutions. At ISLE 2026, several major technological trends shaped the future direction of the display industry.
COB and MIP have emerged as two major technological pathways in LED display development. Manufacturers prominently showcased Micro-LED and COB fine-pitch displays, highlighting their advantages such as high contrast, improved reliability, low power consumption, and lightweight design. These next-generation displays also demonstrated significant improvements in color performance, lifespan, and response speed, making them ideal for high-end conferencing and commercial display environments.
Artificial intelligence is now deeply integrated across the entire display industry chain. On the front end, large AI models are enhancing content creation and enabling more interactive presentation formats. On the back end, AI-driven technologies are being widely used for intelligent control and management of display systems, further improving operational efficiency and performance.
Sustainability and low-carbon development are also becoming key industry priorities. Many LED display manufacturers are promoting low-power designs, common-cathode energy-saving technologies, and air-conditioning-free heat dissipation solutions to reduce energy consumption and support environmentally responsible innovation.
The physical boundaries of display technology are rapidly expanding. At ISLE 2026, hundreds of exhibitors introduced innovations such as transparent displays, holographic screens, textured panels, and creatively shaped display designs. These advancements integrate display technology with spatial design and artistic elements, creating immersive visual experiences and new interactive possibilities for commercial environments, homes, and public art spaces.
In the system integration field, multi-scenario application solutions have become increasingly popular. The era of exhibiting “single hardware products” is outdated. Exhibitors now comprehensively offer “one-stop solutions,” presenting application solutions for commercial retail, command centers, smart meetings, broadcasting, stage performances, tourism & home entertainment, providing buyers from various industries with accessible “future templates.”
