Texas Instruments (TI) has strengthened its presence in India with the inauguration of a new, State-of-the-Art Research and Development (R&D) Centre in Bengaluru, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to semiconductor innovation and advanced engineering in the country.
The new facility was inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Railways, and Communications, Ashwini Vaishnaw, highlighting the strategic importance of semiconductor R&D in India’s technology growth roadmap. The centre is designed to support advanced chip development, system-level design, and next-generation analog and embedded processing technologies.
Equipped with modern laboratories and collaborative workspaces, the Bengaluru R&D centre will enable engineers to work on solutions across key sectors such as automotive electronics, industrial automation, power management, and consumer devices. The expansion further strengthens Texas Instruments’ global innovation network while leveraging India’s deep engineering talent pool.
