Infineon Technologies AG and HL Klemove have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen their strategic collaboration in automotive innovation. The partnership focuses on advancing Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) by combining Infineon’s semiconductor leadership and system expertise with HL Klemove’s strengths in autonomous driving technologies. Together, the companies aim to accelerate innovation in next-generation vehicle electronic architectures and drive the future of intelligent, software-defined mobility.

Under the MoU, the two companies will cooperate in key areas including:

  • Next-generation Zonal Control Units: Infineon and HL Klemove will collaborate to develop advanced zone controller applications that leverage Infineon’s high-performance microcontrollers and power semiconductors. Under this partnership, HL Klemove will lead system and application development, while Infineon provides cutting-edge semiconductor technology and engineering support. Through joint prototype development, the companies aim to enhance their competitiveness in Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) electronic architectures and accelerate the transition toward next-generation automotive systems.
  • Vehicle Ethernet-based ADAS and Camera Solutions: The partners will collaborate to develop front camera modules and ADAS parking control units powered by Infineon’s advanced Ethernet technology. HL Klemove will oversee system and product development, while Infineon supplies high-performance Ethernet semiconductors and networking solutions to deliver high-speed, reliable in-vehicle connectivity. This collaboration aims to enhance data transmission efficiency and support the evolving demands of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) in next-generation automotive architectures.
  • Next-generation Radar Technologies: HL Klemove will utilize Infineon’s radar semiconductor solutions to develop high-resolution, short-range satellite radar systems, advancing toward commercialization through proof-of-concept validation. In addition, both companies will collaborate on high-resolution imaging radar to pioneer next-generation radar technologies designed for precise object detection and recognition, supporting the evolution of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) and autonomous driving capabilities.
