Rockwell Automation, Inc., a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, has announced a collaboration with DLG Group, a major northern European producer of agricultural feedstocks and agri-products. The partnership focuses on reducing downtime through the implementation of the Fiix Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
By adopting Fiix software, DLG Group is upgrading its maintenance operations to drive higher efficiency, minimize downtime and enhance inventory control. Just one month after digitizing its maintenance workflows, the company is already reporting improvements in mean time between failures (MTBF) and is targeting a 10% reduction in downtime within the first year.
“DLG Group’s deployment strategy has been a model of best practice and innovation,” said Katarina Hart, country sales director, Nordics, Rockwell Automation. “Using Fiix CMMS, DLG Group is on target to achieve improvements in efficiency that will more than pay for the investment in the new system.”
Beyond improving maintenance team efficiency, the new system is helping DLG Group establish stronger maintenance best practices. By gathering data across teams, sites and systems, the company can track recurring issues, proven fixes and optimization opportunities. Information is no longer siloed, making it easier to share critical insights and best practices across the organization.
“Our factory managers are already seeing a clear benefit in being able to manage and optimize their maintenance queues in real time,” said DLG’s Continuous Improvement (CI) engineer, Alex Rasksen. “It improves their time-to-resolution but also their cooperation with other functions, such as the production planners. This has had an immediate benefit. And in the long term, we plan to build on that expertise to move to a fully data-driven, predictive maintenance setup.”
