Eastman Auto & Power Ltd (EAPL), a leading energy storage solutions provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vande Bharat E-Vehicles, marking a significant step toward bolstering India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. The agreement, valued at ₹50 crore, involves the supply of advanced lithium-ion batteries to power a new fleet of electric two- and three-wheelers.
This strategic partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to accelerating clean mobility solutions across India. Under the MoU, EAPL will supply high-efficiency lithium-ion battery packs designed to meet the growing demand for reliable, long-range EV performance.
The partnership is expected to support Vande Bharat’s plan to expand its electric vehicle portfolio while reinforcing EAPL’s position as a key enabler in India’s EV transition.
