Nippon Express Automotive Logistics (China) Co., Ltd. (President: Kentaro Shimoda; hereinafter, NX Automotive Logistics (China)), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), took part in a tree-planting event organized by the Guangzhou City Huangpu District Federation of Trade Unions on Sunday, March 9.
Committed to its social and environmental responsibilities as a logistics company, the NX Group actively engages with local communities to foster sustainability through meaningful social initiatives.
Under the slogan “Planting Green, Spreading Hope”, NX Automotive Logistics (China) has consistently contributed to environmental and social causes. Aligning with China’s National Tree Planting Day on March 12, the company organized its latest tree-planting effort, bringing together President Shimoda, NX Group employees, and their families, forming a 51-member team that planted 50 saplings. A CSR quiz competition and other programs were also held to boost interest in environmental protection activities and to allow employees to interact with nature, with each other and with local residents. Thanks to this event, participants reaffirmed the importance of environmental protection and increased their awareness of corporate initiatives for a sustainable future.
