Echo Global Logistics, Inc., a top provider of tech-driven transportation and supply chain solutions, has opened a new office in Mexico City. Following nearly a decade of cross-border operations, the company expanded its services in Mexico last year.
“We’re excited to continue to develop our cross-border solutions with the opening of our Mexico City division headquarters,” said Doug Waggoner, Chief Executive Officer at Echo. “Our experts are dedicated to our clients and carriers who do business in the Mexican transportation market and establishing our presence within the country reinforces this commitment.”
“Our Mexico City office builds a new level of support to our clients and carriers who do business south of the border,” said Dave Menzel, President and Chief Operating Officer at Echo. “Having Troy Ryley lead our Mexico division, who brings a lengthy career in international business management to Echo, has been a great benefit to further developing our cross-border operations.”
With a lengthy tenure of managing southern border shipping solutions, Echo’s Mexico City location marks the newest edition to its cross-border services. In addition to Mexico City, Echo has established operations in Monterrey, Guadalajara and just across the border in Laredo, Texas. Utilizing its existing infrastructure, Echo has been able to make rapid advancements in the process of navigating border crossings with the support of its bilingual Mexico team.
“This new addition to support our Mexico team represents our continued growth in our goal to simplify transportation management,” said Troy Ryley, President of Echo Mexico. “Building on our cross-border solutions with local expertise enables Echo to provide high quality solutions for shippers and carriers moving freight into, out of, and throughout Mexico.”
