Nippon Express (India) Pte. Ltd. (President: P. Krishna Murthy; hereafter “NX India”), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), has expanded its warehouse facilities located in Pataudi, Haryana and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
As part of its medium-term NX Group Business Plan 2028, the NX Group has identified expanding its presence in India as a key growth strategy. In line with this objective, the Group has taken several initiatives, which include opening new facilities and upgrading existing ones to reinforce its supply chain network. Most recently, the company expanded two of its warehouses in India to further elevate its logistics capabilities.
One such facility is NX India’s warehouse in Pataudi, located near Gurugram, Haryana, which was expanded on Thursday, February 20. The warehouse now spans approximately 9,200 square meters, addressing the rising demand from customers. It features a modern fire alarm system, sprinklers, dock levelers, and other advanced equipment designed to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations. This expansion will enable NX India to deliver high-quality logistics services to a broader client base.
The warehouse at Indira Gandhi International Airport handles transit cargo at the airport, provides support for removals operations, and performs customs clearance. In response to the increase in the volume of cargo handled over the past few years, the warehouse and its office space were enlarged by a factor of 1.5 times as of Thursday, January 23. With these cutting-edge warehouse facilities, NX India is now ready to offer more finely-tuned responses to customer needs immediately.
The NX Group will be further improving its logistics functions in India as well as international transport services utilizing its global network to help customers enhance their business activities and thereby realize its long-term vision of becoming a logistics company with a strong presence in the global market.
