The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has expanded its premium homestay brand, amã Stays & Trails, with the launch of Kuteeram in Bengaluru, India. Nestled within seven acres of lush greenery, the new retreat comprises nine charming cottage villas that seamlessly blend rustic charm with contemporary comfort.
Kuteeram’s design is inspired by traditional rural architecture, featuring a harmonious mix of stone, brick, lime, and vibrant glass windows. Each cottage features a deck with views of the surrounding landscape, providing a serene retreat in the city.
Dining at Kuteeram celebrates the region’s culinary heritage in a communal setting. Guests can enjoy local dishes, including crispy masala dosas and Mangalore fish curry, complemented by sweet treats such as Mysore Pak.
The homestay also offers wellness facilities, including a spa for holistic treatments and a meditation hall for peaceful reflection. Nature walks, birdwatching and visits to nearby Hesaraghatta Lake provide opportunities to connect with the environment.
amã Stays & Trails boasts over 300 bungalows across India, with 169 more under development. Last month, IHCL strengthened its footprint in Gujarat by signing an agreement to bring the historic Palitana Palace under the Taj Hotels banner.
Following an extensive restoration, the palace is set to offer 65 elegantly appointed rooms and suites.
