The global leader in temperature-controlled storage, logistics, and value-added services, Americold, has commenced a $34 million expansion of its Halwyn facility in Hornby, Christchurch. This significant project will more than double the facility’s capacity, bolstering its ability to serve the increasing demand for temperature-controlled storage across New Zealand’s South Island.
Marking the third regional growth initiative within the past two years, this expansion reflects Americold’s commitment to supporting capacity-constrained markets throughout the APAC region.

The 15,240m² site, at 32 Halwyn Drive, is just 10 minutes from Christchurch airport and 20 minutes from the CBD.
